I would like to share with you my recent experience with your team from Pioneer Porsche. It will take a few minutes to read this email in its entirety, but I am taking the time to write to express my profound and deep appreciation for the professionalism and care I received over the course of my several week ordeal.  My journey at Pioneer began back in 2006 with my first purchase of an original Cayman S from Matt Bang. This is my story:

  • The Situation: On May 14th, I had the misfortune of having my car stolen while surfing in Encinitas.
  • The Discovery: The car was located 3-weeks later, with nay a scratch on it.
  • The Return: Getting the car out of impound proved problematic, the perpetrators removed all the contents inside the vehicle, including the registration. Fortunately, Hayden Howe and Matt Bang were on hand to save the day. Hayden provided me with a CVR report which satisfied the impound owners (it was a Sunday evening). Matt then stayed after hours to shuttle me back and forth from the impound facility and Pioneer (to first pick up my PD1 and then return me to the impound facility to pick up my rental car).
  • The Walk Around: Matt and I took a first pass on the vehicle and we noted a few relatively minor blemishes (wheel rash, front lip spoiler, etc.). We then set the car up for the mechanical inspection.
  • The Estimate: Sean Puno and Earl Clark were on hand to ensure the insurance inspection went smoothly. We noted the exterior cosmetic issues, the mechanical work to be completed, the interior cosmetic work, and the need to replace and reprogram the keys.
  • The Dilemma: Beyond the lip spoilers which needed refinishing, there was a nick in the right rear quarter panel. If this were any other car, I'd probably let it go. But with this PD1, I couldn't leave it as is. The insurance adjuster suggested painting the car. I wasn't too sure I wanted to go that route - water based paint, painting the car generally, matching issues, etc. So, Sean, Matt, and Earl consulted one another and came up with a plan to wet sand and buff out the area to see if that would satisfy my needs. Great call. It came out awesome - and no painting required.
  • The Delivery: The car was prepped and ready to go on time - looking flawless as ever.
  • 360 Degree Service: From the time I notified Matt of my situation to Angie working to get my collector's PD1 sunglasses replaced to Earl's patience and diligence, this experience was truly what all owners are after: a relentless commitment to attend to all of a customer's needs - however small - and the attention to detail that leaves a customer willing to run back for more.

Please express my sincere gratitude to the team of professionals from Pioneer who managed to transform my nightmare into a fond memory of stellar service and a job well done!

I am writing to thank you and your team for the outstanding service that I received last weekend when I brought my Panamera Turbo in for service.

 

On Saturday evening I experienced a tire blowout from a massive pothole in Downtown San Diego. I had the vehicle towed in and left my key in the early bird drop box hoping that your service center would be open on Sunday. When I arrived the next morning Daniel Lewis greeted me and informed me that the service center was closed but he would check to see if there was a spare tire in inventory so that it could be fixed first thing in the morning. I told him that I was visiting from Santa Barbara and asked if there was anything he could do to help me get the tire fixed sooner so I could get to work in the morning.

 

When he saw that there was an extra tire in inventory he said he would try to get someone to come in and switch it out for me. He called the closest technician, Chase, and asked him if he was available to come in to help with the tire. I overheard Chase saying that he was going to be spending the day with his fiancé getting registered for their upcoming wedding, but he was willing to come in and help me beforehand.

 

Fifteen minutes later Chase showed up and was ready to help. He swapped out the tire, recognized a recall campaign, and even washed my car for me. I wasn’t expecting this kind of service and was extremely grateful that I was back on the road so quick. Daniel, Chase, and Angie provided outstanding service above and beyond the call of duty. I really appreciate the experience I had with your dealership and hope that you can recognize those individuals for their hard work and dedication.

Shaun, Thank you for your quick action.
